Special Features

The Matador symbol has multiple functions: straight up, it only appears on reels 2,3 and 4 and acts as a blocker to other wins. If you get 3 or more, it triggers x3 free respins where it acts as a sticky wild and for every additional matador that shows up during the Respin Challenge, you get an additional respin.

If the Toro shows up, he’ll trigger the Toro Goes Wild bonus game and then woe be to the Matador! Straight off, the Toro only appears on reel 5 and when he does, he will charge any and every matador on screen, leaving a trail of wilds in his wake. The Toro symbol can move vertically and horizontally and when he finishes bumping off all the matadors, he will then trigger free spins where he remains vigilant as a sticky wild and will move one reel to the left on each respin. If on any free spin another matador appears, the Toro will again charge and leave even more Wild Toro symbols littered across the reels before triggering the free spins again. The free spins only end when the Toro has shifted all the way off the reels to the right.

Verdict

The base game doesn’t really have much going for it, but the two bonus games with the free respins add a whole lot of bite to this game. It seems most of the cash that make up the unusually high RTP of 96.4% can be found in the bonus games, which really pay out well provided you are patient enough to wait for them.
