Italy and Greece
It seems that the Mediterranean has especially excellent beaches, with Italy and Greece leading the way. Glamma could easily be at a Greek beach for a few days and then travel with ease to an Italian beach for another few days.
Let us speculate that Glamma started her beach adventure at Fteri Beach on the island of Kefalonia in Greece. This is an isolated beach that people access either by shimmying down a steep slope (not exactly Glamma’s cup of espresso) or by boat. Glamma goes in by boat and comes out every evening the same way. Then she spends the evening and early night in a hotel on the island. This beach is isolated, as we sai,d with quiet waves, high cliffs all around, and very good weather in August.
Cala Goloritze
This is a world-class beach on the island of Sardinia. Glamma can also search out unique spots to have a cup of coffee, do some shopping, or just to enjoy the calm air and soft breezes of the Sardinian summer. It features a limestone pinnacle and warm waters.
From here, Glamma might travel either to the Seychelles or to Madagascar. The Seychelles have been famous for their beaches for a long time while Madagascar has just recently become a beachgoers’ destination. For a long time, it was an afterthought for safari travelers. Today, it is as much a destination as the safaris of East Africa themselves.
